Contemporary Romance

Determined to buy the home on Pearl Island, reported to be haunted by her ancestors, Rory St. Claire enlists the help of wealthy upper crust Oliver “Chance” Chancellor, son of Galveston’s premier financier, to secure a loan. Who better to put a good word in for her and her family than an old schoolmate of her brothers? But things don’t fall into place so easily! Not only can’t they get the loan Rory finds herself falling hard for Chance. And Rory isn’t the only one falling. Chance is having as hard time keeping his hands off Rory too! So how does he keep Rory around, now that the loan has fallen through? Go into partnership with her and her family, thus securing the loan. So what’s the problem? Chance is practically engaged, Rory’s on a mission to convince Chance they belong together and Chance is torn between what’s expected of him and what he really wants.

Julie Ortolon will knock your socks off with this sexy, fun, racy romance. Falling For You is pure entertainment from beginning to end. You’ll fall in love with each and every character, a better cast of characters I’ve yet to meet! They were wonderful, fun and full of life. What I found so appealed about Falling For You was the fact that Chance was set up as being “the skinny nerd” to Rory’s “beauty”. And while Chance may have outgrown that label he still needed Rory to shake up his world a bit and show him how to let go. Ms. Ortolon did a wonderful job of conveying the love Rory and Chance had for one another, even during the times when both weren’t so sure they were meant to be together. I loved how they put each other first before thinking of themselves. Falling For You easily earns it’s place on my keeper shelf and on my list of do not miss books this year. Ms. Ortolon has outdone herself and just keeps getting better and better! And I’m happy to say we have more St. Claire’s coming our way!
