Chloe Weston is used to being the responsible one in her family. For years she's taken care of her younger sister as well as her own mother. Chloe works extremely hard, going to school all day and working part time at night, just to make ends meet. She knows if she keeps working hard at it, she'll soon graduate, find a terrific job, send her little sister to college and find the one thing she's searched so long for: stability. All Chloe wants is security, not the kind of reckless life her mother has indulged in. But she also realizes that in her quest for security and stability it couldn't hurt to have a little fun too. Trent Langtree has decided to do things on his own from now on. He's given up his prominent position at the family business in order to pursue his own hopes and dreams. Trent has started his own landscaping business and it's very important that he succeed. Otherwise, he could end up right back at Langtree Department Store, which his twin brother Troy manages. Trent isn't cut out for that 9 to 5 office kind of life, he wants to work with his bare hands outside in the sun. He's been working hard at a posh resort and he knows it's important that he completes this job and does it well. But he never expects to meet someone so beautiful and alluring on the beach in a rainstorm, nor does he expect her to open up to him so completely from the very beginning, in so many delicious ways. Unfortunately both Chloe and Trent don't realize that they've been mistaken about whom each person is and the ensuing roller coaster ride is far more interesting than either could have believed possible!
TWO TO TANGLE by Leslie Kelly is a steamy, fun and wild ride. The story flows right along, making it very easy to devour the entire book in just one sitting. Once again Ms. Kelly brings us a story of two extremely likable characters that start out by forming a more sexual connection, but end up connecting in every other way possible. This story also brings us a twist: Twin brothers and mistaken identity. I enjoyed this story line immensely and it was a great catalyst for a lot of laugh out loud moments and terrific sexual tension. I enjoyed watching Trent and Chloe get to know each other all over again after a case of mistaken identity and I could completely understand Chloe's motivation for wanting more security in her life. I could see how her relationship with Trent would throw a kink into those plans and I enjoyed seeing what the outcome would be.
This is my second book by Leslie Kelly and I am more determined than ever to search out her backlist because of her latest offering. Leslie Kelly writes hot, steamy stories with lots of humor and tons of romance thrown in. You can't go wrong with TWO TO TANGLE!
