Ava Santori is working as chef in her family's restaurant in Boston when she gets the call that her brother's ship has been lost in a hurricane.
Dane Erikson has built Utopia Adventures from the ground up and he's not about to let greedy relatives ruin things. That is the first thought going through his head when he sees Ava Santori at the memorial for the shipwreck victims. Ava has arrived in St. Barts at the urging of an attorney who believes he has proof that the owner of Utopia Adventures deliberately sent the ship out into the hurricane. Soon after meeting and getting to know Dane, Ava comes to the realization that Dane could not possibly be at fault. The two soon decide to team up and find out what really happened.
TROPICAL GETAWAY is a fast moving, gripping story about a woman who has been estranged from her younger brother and wants to make up for it. Along the way she meets a man who has tried to distance himself from his own family and take control of his life. They just need to solve the mystery of who is trying to destroy Dane's dream and sent innocent people to their deaths before they can find their own happy ending.
I enjoyed this book very much and highly recommend it to everyone.
